Functional Pain Therapy at NMJ Clinic

Please reach us at customer.care@nmjclinic.in if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A). Functional Pain Therapy (FPT) is an advanced manual therapy approach that identifies and treats the root cause of pain rather than just the symptoms. It integrates joint, muscle, and neural mobilisation techniques with postural and movement retraining for long-lasting relief and improved body function.

  • Postural Re-education
  • Muscle Memory Rehab
  • Facilitating movement Patterns
  • Improving function and sports performance

the FPT is the exercise the patient does afterward. Think of the exercise as helping in “SUSTAINING” the benefits of FPT. Without this, the improvements in range of motion, joint mobility, and muscle memory will be short-lived.

A.) Muscle Memory Rehab through FPT is a specific solution towards your specific problem to re-live pain free. Where any other form of training is for general well being. MMR is target specific in parallel to undergoing FPT, it add long life to your spine and joints.

A.) Big difference can be understand with Global Vs Local cause of pain. Yes, FPT focus on  more global cause behind pain then then locally for pain masking effect. Specially when pain is more due to poor life style then just specific poor area of body.

More then that traditional therapies focus more on exercise ( strengthening & stretching) which do have relief pain but as per evidence those impact are short live and secondly do not support specific structural restoration. Likewise difference between multivitamin suppliment vs specific vit. suppliment to overcome.

A.) Initial Evaluation is first crucial step towards quality care, through accurate diagnosis & treatment. Purpose to collect  key information and review a patient's condition, pain, and general health history. It's a starting point at which you begin to understand a patient's body.

Our well executed, initial assessment is a powerful clinical tool. The right questions and a full review of your patients’ signs and symptoms will lead us to a strong hypothesis on what is really going on.

Following the assessment, the information gathered, coupled with your clinical reasoning skills will act as a guide through  physical examination, and any other tests.

In short, it’s the very beginning of your patient’s journey.

A.) No!!! There is no life related risk nor  side effects related to our treatment. Treatment do not use any type of physical jerks/thrust, any type of chemical, medicine or oil. It is pure and pure hands on treatment.
